Despite losing 18-3 to Essex, North Country found a spark in the play of sophomore Anna Bingham.
The short stop had all three NCU hits, and was a single away from hitting for the cycle as she belted out a triple, a double, and a sixth inning homer to give her team an emotional lift at the end of the game.
The Falcons will take that positive and try to get back on the right track against MMU on Thursday.
