Former North Country soccer standout Ashley Jenne was named to Vermont’s team for next weekend’s Lions Twin State Soccer Match. The game, which has been a tradition since 1975,(1983 for the girls) helps raise funds for the Austine Greene Mountain Lions Camp, a camp for the hearing impaired, in Vermont and a variety of different projects in New Hampshire.
Jenne is the lone representative from the Orleans County, although other players, including Emily Pecue from NCUHS and Danika Gallup and Paige Wells from Lake Region, were also invited to try-out for the team.
