CRAFTSBURY– The Craftsbury Academy Charger Boys kicked off their season Saturday, against the Rockets of Rochester. It wasn’t the season opener they had hoped for as they lost a tight contest to the Rockets 1-0.
The game was a hard fought battle as both sides battled for every inch on the soccer pitch. Craftsbury seemed to have the advantage with Rochester having only 10 players on their team, but the Chargers still couldn’t capitalize. The teams would go to the break, deadlocked at 0-0.
