The Enosburg Yellow Jackets pocketed a 5-4 victory over Lake Region in girls high school softball Monday evening, in a game far different than either had played yet this season.
Enosburg moves to 2-1, while LR drops to 1-1 and travels to Danville Thursday.

ORLEANSâLake Region's baseball club had a rough go of it on Monday afternoon, as they fell 13-4 to Enosburg in a make-up game from Saturday's rain out.
Alex Beauregard got the start for the Rangers, his first at the varsity level after a brief hiatus from the game.
Beauregard took the loss, going 3 1/3, with 5 K's and 6 walks.
Now 1-1, Lake Region will travel to Danville for their first road game of the year on Thursday.
