COVENTRY – Route 14 was closed for a period of time Wednesday after a fully loaded dump truck caught fire.

LOWELL SOLAR PROJECT GOES DARK

July 31, 2013

LOWELL – Tuesday evening, voters 51 to 15 rejected a proposal for All Earth Renewables of Shelburne to install a solar array behind the town office building. The town would have leased one acre of land to the company for 20 years with option to buy in seven years. In return, the company would pay 10 percent of Lowell's electric bill for town owned buildings.
