ORLEANS-It was a long trip up from Brandon, Vermont for the 11th seeded Otter Valley Otters Saturday, and after a painful 29 point whupping by host Lake Region, it probably was a longer trip back.
The Lake Region backcourt had their way with the visiting Otters, forcing 26 turnovers with their relentless multi-headed group of guards to earn a to a trip to the Division Two Final Four at Barre Auditorium this coming Wednesday.
Add to the fact that the Otters had no answer for Drew Gallup inside, and it was a long afternoon for Otter Valley.

ORLEANS–The Lady Rangers did not finnish up the regular season they way they wanted to, as they fell to Winooski 56-45.
The game was seen as a test for Lake Region as they prepare to head into the play-offs without a few crucial members of their squad.
"That game was one we really wanted to win for seeding purposes," said assistant coach Joe Houston. "It wasn't a one-and-done situation, but it was sort of like that atmosphere, and we did not handle it the way we wanted to in terms of coming out and staying composed.
