NEWPORT–While the weather conditions were fantastic, the end result was not as bright as the shinning sun, as the North Country Falcons ran into a very good Montpelier tennis team on Wednesday, losing the match 6-1.
The girls will host Lake Region next Wednesday in a rematch from their contest last month.
It should be an interesting bout, since both teams were missing their number one player, amongst others, the last time these two teams met.
Game time is at 3:30.
