Holland was without power - again! This time because of an "equipment failure" caused by a damaged transformer, which apparently fell to the ground and started a small grass fire.

BOYS GOLF
NEWPORT–Brock Paquette medaled with a 71 to lead Essex past BFA and North Country on Friday afternoon at the Newport Country Club.
Essex shot a match-low 302, while BFA was second with a 335.
For North Country, they had three players finish their round.
Evan Clark shot a 90, Isaiah Carbonneau a 110, and Coty Wright came into the clubhouse with a 112.
The boys travel to Shelburne on Tuesday for a CVU hosted match.
GIRLS GOLF
Six hours of driving and five hours of golf is what the North Country Union High School Girls golf team had this week.

Joel M. Andress, professor emeritus of geography at Central Washington University, died at the home of his son and daughter-in-law in Clarkdale, AZ on on April 21,2013. Dr. Andress was born in Bethlehem, PA, July 1, 1931.
