SOUTH BURLINGTON - Marie- Paule Isabelle,76, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Fletcher Allen Hospital with her caring children by her side. She is happily dancing in Heaven with her husband, Jean-Marc Isabelle of 53 years, who passed 10 months prior. They were longtime residences of Newport, VT and spent their winter’s in West Palm Beach, FL and then moved to South Burlington, VT, three and half years ago.
She is survived by her five children: Carole Isabelle Barbeau and her husband Bruce; France; Michael and his wife Wene; Daniel and his wife Lani; and Jocelyn. She also leaves behind 4 of her lovely sisters: Jeannine delaBruere, Rita Lesperance, Doloris Lavigne, and Aurore Lavoie. She has nine grandchildren: Jennifer, Christopher, Jonathan, Danielle, Shane, Nicole, Brittany, Geo, and Joshua. They have fond memories of their Grandma playing cards, singing to them, making her delicious crepes, picking berries together then baking it into a pie, but most of all it was her revisions of common fairy tale stories she would reconstruct in a creative way that would have them laughing and excited to hear more during bedtime. She carried a special bond with all of them.
Marie, our Mom, was the perfect role model. She was the most loving, caring, giving, and selfless, hardworking and talented individual. Her connections and radiant love for all living and her “Full of Life” attitude, would have even impressed “Mother Theresa.” For this and much more, her presence will be surely missed.
