Orleans State’s Attorney Alan Franklin announced Tuesday that he will not charge Christian Cornelius, 31, of Newport with a crime in the homicide of Isaac Hunt.

Cruiser Crusher No Longer Faces Charges

NEWPORT CITY – Because Roger Pion, the man who used a large farm tractor to crush Sheriff’s Department cruisers parked behind the department August 3, 2012 was determined to be insane at the time, he no longer faces charges.

Newport City Council: Pit Bull Gets Temporary Stay Of Execution

Tide Shuts Out Hard Luck Falcons, Win 2-0

NEWPORT–Snake bitten.
There is no other way to describe the North Country boys soccer team.
On Monday afternoon the Falcons took on the Spaulding Crimson Tide for the second time in as many games, and despite putting thirteen shots on goal and having a penalty kick, the team could not find the back net as they fell to visiting squad 2-0.
