Calloway Held on $25K After Knife Attack

Girlfriend held for allegedly harboring him.

NEWPORT CITY – Dwayne Calloway Jr. of Newport was arrested Thursday and is being held on $25,000 bail after he allegedly threatened his mother, Bernadette Dewing, with a machete and a gun, ransacked her Hinman Street home, and later attacked a Massachusetts man with a knife and punched out the window of the man's car on Wednesday.
