DERBY – Nothing warms the heart like ice fishing, especially when it's done to raise money for cancer victims.
This year marked the 9th Annual Northeast Kingdom Ice Fishing Tournament hosted by Wright's Enterprises in Derby. A host of sponsors signed up for the event, tickets sold like the proverbial hot cakes, the youth portion of the derby netted quite a catch, and those brave enough to endure the event met Sunday for a lively feast and to watch the winners receive their much prized awards.
