Essex County Sheriff Trevor Colby, with assistance from Essex County Stateâ€™s Attorney Vince Illuzzi, is working to start a Community Restorative Justice Program that will be part of a Diversion program in the northeastern county of the state.

WESTMORE â€” The eleventh annual Lake Willoughby Dip was attended by enthusiastic participants and their supporters on New Yearâ€™s Day. Funds raised for the event are donated to the American Cancer Society (ACS) for cancer research.

Humble Newport Rec Director Makes Department All It Can Be
Andy Cappello came to Newport Vermont a few years ago, young, ambitious, and full of spirit and good will to take on the role of director of the Newport Parks and Recreation Department. He has been named the Newport Daily Express Person of the Year for his accomplishments.
