DERBY — The Vermont Department of Transportation (VTrans) says that the furniture store owned by the company that hopes to lease land to a proposed Dunkin’ Donuts has an illegal entrance off the Derby Road.

Severe Storms Cause Damage

Severe storms of thunder, lightning, wind, and heavy rains barreled in, wreaking havoc in the area Tuesday evening.
Lightning and wind knocked over trees and caused power outages to more than 2,000 homes.
