Theodore “Ted” J. Quintin, 73, of Montgomery Center, VT passed away on September 21, 2012 at his home. He was born September 5, 1939 in Houlton, Maine, the son of Romeo and Hilda (Norway) Quintin.
Ted graduated from Sacred Heart High School, class of 1957 and attended Norwich University. Ted was honorably discharged as a reserve commissioned officer of the army. He was owner and operator of Granny Grunts, Grampa Grunts Lodge, Grannys II Restaurant, and the Thirsty Boot Bar; and was a pillar of the community in Montgomery Center for 40 years.Â

Barrett Skoll, 92, of Huntington, WV passed away September 15, 2012 in Lexington, KY. He was born on July 12, 1920 in Newport, VT, son of the late Oscar and Celia Skoll.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Elaine Rose Skoll and his sister, Sera Skoll.
Carr–– “Dick” Richard Powell passed away peacefully in his sleep March 31, 2012 at his home in Mesa Arizona. His children will host a memorial celebration of his life on Saturday, September 22, 2012 beginning at 10:49 a.m. The gathering will take place at “Railroad Camp” in Brunswick, Vermont. Parking will be in the Sylvio Conte NWR Visitors Center parking lot in Bloomfield, VT (formally Bear Mountain) with just a short walk to the camp. Any and all are invited to attend.
