Whipple, 86, long-time resident of Newport Center, joined the love of her life for eternity when she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at North Country Hospital in Newport on October 18, 2012. She was born on May 25, 1926, in Westfield, the daughter of Ralph Willis and Elsie Besaw.
