Mellissa M. Tinker, 39, died suddenly Saturday, October 22, 2011, in Newport. She was born in Worcester, MA on May 8, 1972, the daughter of Harry Burnham and Phyllis "Penny"(Joyner) Horner.
She and her family moved to Albany in her early years where she was raised. She attended Lake Region Union High School and had taken several college courses.

Ballou–– Thomas S., 72, died unexpectedly Saturday, October 22, 2011 at his home. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held Saturday, October 29, at the Hotel Coolidge in White River Junction from 2-4 p.m. A second celebration will be held in Newport to be announced in the spring. Sherrington–– Joyce E., 80, of Pearl Street died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Springfield Health & Rehabilitation Center. There will be calling hours 2- 4 p.m. on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Fenton & Hennessey Funeral Home in Bellows Falls, VT. There will be a graveside service in the Westminster Cemetery at a later date.

James W. Chapman, Jr., 38, of Stuart, FL died October 17, 2011 at his home. Born in Joplin, MO, he had been a resident of Stuart for 6 years coming from Rochester, NY. He was a prototype designer for Biomet 3i in Palm Beach Gardens, FL for 6 years. He had attended The Grace Place, Stuart.
Bly–– Thelma M., 85, of Newport, VT, passed away October 19, 2011 in Newport. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 3 p.m. at the Hillside Cemetery in East Charleston.
