ORLEANS–"My hats of to Enosburg, and that's all I'm going to say."
Those are the only words spoken to me by Coach Tom Evans after Lake Region's 2-0 loss to Enosburg on Monday night.
Judging by his words and tone, coach, you can imagine how Evans felt about his team's performance on the pitch.
Things started out on the wrong foot for LR personnel wise as sophomore goaltender Alex Beauregard started the game on the bench due to what sources cited as a disciplinary matter.
LITTLE ROCK–Former Lake Region basketball player Anthony Bathalon tried out and made the ABA’s Little Rock Lightning basketball team this weekend.
Bathalon headed down for try-outs late last week and was informed Sunday that he had made the cut for the team’s inaugural season.
He will head back down to Arkansas the first week of November to get ready for the 2011-2011 campaign.
The Lightning open the season on on November 26th against Conway.
