Rock Crushers Hold First Try-out

June 13, 2011

JAY–The Green Mountain Rock Crushers held their first player try-out camp this past weekend at the Ice House at Jay Peak. Twenty-two players made the trip to northeastern Vermont to try to win a roster spot, and while not all of them were offered an invitation to the come back, they enjoyed their experience.
"It's absolutely beautiful up here, it's so scenic," said Jonathan Reynolds, a twenty-four year old goaltender from Toronto.
GM and Governor Andy Makal was pleased with the camp and the level of play the athletes brought with them.
