Cutting, Baker Win Horseshoe Championship

July 19, 2011

WESTMORE–The Orleans Lions held their annual Horseshoe World Championships this past Saturday.
With sunny skies and temperatures hovering near ninety degrees, the event drew over 300 spectators throughout the day, and featured 80 participants battling for the chance to be labeled the World Champion.
Steve Cutting and Ben Baker were the best of the best at the competition and they took home the first place trophy.
“I just go out there to have fun,” said Baker, “I don’t expect to win, but it is nice when it happens.”
