JAY–On a night where they were honored for their hard work and dedication to the game of hockey, the North Country seniors did not disappoint, scoring a combined 6 of the team's nine goals in the Falcons 9-2 win over Harwood.
Nate Stewart was tops in the goal department, as he had a hat-trick in the big win.
Josh Bernier had two goals, and the captain Ebin Fournier had a goal and an assist for North Country.
Junior Adam Viens pumped in two goals, and sophomore Ross DeLaBruere had an outstanding night, recording a goal and picking up a playmaker.
NEWPORT– As the Falcons played host to the Crimson Tide of Spaulding Monday night, they paid tribute to their 5 seniors. Josh Puckett, Matthew Benn, Steven Raboin, Taylor Prue, and Devon Martin are what coach Bonvechio calls, “a good group of young men that show up every day wanting to get better.”

NEWPORT–It was a good weekend to be an Eagle, but a tough one to be a Crusader as both the Mid-Vermont Christian Eagles and Canaan Eagles flew into the Newport Elementary School this past weekend and picked up wins over UCA.
On Friday evening it was Mid-Vermont in to take on the Academy.
As the girls game got underway, UCA was without two of their starters as Nicole Roy is out for the season with a broken bone in her hand and Olivia Foster was out due to medical reasons, so the Crusaders were already at a disadvantage.
CRAFTSBURY-The Craftsbury Academy boys improved to 16-3 on the season as they put the pedal to the metal in a 74-27 win. The Chargers had good balance as senior Andrew Marckres netted 22 and fellow senior teammate Jason Martin tacked on another 11. Freshman forward Jon DelaBruere collected ten for UCA.
