Nordic Falcons Finish Strong as They Head to States

EAST BURKE–The North Country Nordic girls closed out the regular season on a high note, taking first overall at the Lyndon Institute hosted race on the Kingdom Trails of Burke Mountain.
Haley-Jo Tetreault and Lindsay Cotnoir were neck and neck battling for second place, and it was Tetreault who edged out Cotnoir by two seconds, finishing with a time of 22:03.
Senior Erika Fortin's 24:00 was good enough for seventh place, and she was followed by a pair of sophomores, Adele Woodmansee in tenth, and Jane Dandurand in eleventh.
