On a beautiful sunshiny baseball Sunday afternoon in Littleton, NH, the Orleans County 12-U Thunder baseball team started their season with a convincing 15-3 victory over the Littleton NH 12-U All-Star team.
There were a lot of stars in this game with Parker Brown, T.J. Santaw, Hunter Marsh, Liam Kennedy and Derrick Breault on the mound.
The quintet gave up a mere 3 runs on 5 hits. There were a lot of great defensive plays in the game along with a lot of offense.
Along with the strong pitching and solid defense, several members of the Thunder had a productive day at the plate.

This past school year a North Country Junior High Girls Golf Club was created. Starting with an organizational meeting in November that was coordinated by John Gunn, physical education teacher at NCUJH, and Brian Hampton, the head varsity girls’ golf coach of North Country Union High School.
The duo discussed the program with a number of girls interested in starting the club. In the spring three girls, 7th graders Katie Goulet, Dehlia Wright, and Dasha Plotnikov, followed up on the initial meeting by joining the program.
