UCA Drops to .500 With Loss to Trinity Batist

September 25, 2012

NEWPORT–The UCA Crusaders ran up against a speedy Trinity Baptist Kings team on Monday afternoon, losing the contest 3-0.
"We've got some adjusting to do before we see them next week," UCA coach Alyssa DeLaBruere after the game. "Speed is not our strength. We've got size but not speed, so we have got to figure out a way to shut down three or four of their players that just can go."
The Kings used their quick feet to get on the board early as Christopher Zamarippa opened the scoring off of a corner kick just five minutes into the contest.
