ORLEANSâ€“With eight starters lost due to to graduation and other issues, the 2013 Lake Region boys soccer team will have a new look and feel to it this season.
Head coach Tom Evans has been monitoring his fresh faced team closely, and he is pleased with the effort that he has seen from his crew.
"I have been very impressed with their work, but we are going to have a lot of maturation to do," said Evans. "We have only three returning starters, but that is where we are and we are going to look forward. I am very excited."

BFA 1, North Country 0
ST. ALBANS-Phoebe Martell-Crawford scored 19:03 into the first half to help give BFA St. Albans the 1-0 win over the North Country Falcons.
"They are a very skilled team and they totally dominated us early on," said NCU coach Peter Alexander.
The Falcons, who are still adapting to their new home in the Metro, where able to gather their bearings and regroup in the second half.
"We had four golden chances to tie the game in the second half, but we just could not finish. They deserved the win." Alexander said. "We are still getting used to the tempo of this level."
LYNDON-Lyndon Institute's Emily Doty has reportedly been sidelined with an ACL injury.
According to people close to the situation, Doty will not be able to participate in the winter sports season, and that could impact the Falcons' move to Division I.
