Lake Region standout Donna Lawson wrapped up her collegiate basketball career at Lyndon State College this season.
Donna started her college game at Keene State in New Hampshire, but found the setting in direct opposition to her basketball preferences.
"Keene was not a good fit," she said. “The coach and I did not see eye-to-eye on a lot of things, plus I was a little home sick, so I transferred to Lyndon."
Upon arriving at Lyndon, her career took off.

"They played tough defense, and as much as we tried to prepare the girls for it, we struggled early in the game before settling down," said LRU coach Mark Tinker. "Hopefully it is a good learning experience for the ones coming back, and an unfortunate ending for the ones that are graduating."
