Barton Bids Farewell To Longtime Moderator, And To Selectman

Tuesday night the voters of Barton passed both their select board and highway budgets with little discussion. But the retirement of two elected positions did receive recognition, as did some of the appropriations.
William May has been Barton’s town moderator for 38 years. This year he decided he would be stepping down.
