Lady Rangers Gift Wrap 10-9 Victory to Enosburg While Lake Region Boys Fall 9-2 to Hornets

May 23, 2012

The Lake Region Rangers softball team was clearly in the giving mood Tuesday, as ten errors in the field combined with a handful of mental mistakes led to a 10-9 extra-inning loss to Enosburg.
While the defense did everything they could to give the contest away, the offense kept coming back, tying or taking the lead on three different occasions after falling behind.
Ranger starter Michelle Thibeault also did her part, striking out a career high 7 batters, but in the end could not overcome a porous Ranger defense that made a least one error in every inning of play.

As much as the Wildcats battled they could not find the back of the net. Milton is a fast, skilled, and adept soccer team.
