Burlton–– Alma Elena, 73, of Newport, died peacefully on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Bel-Aire Nursing Home in Newport. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport. Should friends desire, contributions in Alma’s memory may be to the Pope Memorial Frontier Animal Society, 502 Strawberry Acres Road, Newport, VT 05855.
