CRAFTSBURY–After a slow first half that saw the Craftsbury Chargers and the Whitcomb Hornets combine for a total of thirty-four points, the two teams ramped it up in the second half with the Chargers gaining the upper hand and coming away with the 52-38 win.
"We were very sluggish from the start," said Craftsbury coach Derek Cipriano. "The boys saw (Whitcomb's) record and thought they were going to come in this game and roll over them, but I knew that wasn't going to be the case. (Whitcomb) is a hard working bunch and they created some mismatches for us with their speed."
