Chaput–– Claudette, 76, of Newport Center passed away surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren, family and friends on January 7, 2012. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Home, 4670 Darling Hill Road, Newport. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Newport. Spring interment will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery on May 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dr. Ron Holland NC Hospital Dialysis Unit, 189 Prouty Drive, Newport, Vt. 05855.
