JAY–Saturday night's boy's hockey game had a little bit of everything in it, as North Country was able to come from behind twice to defeat Rutland 5-3 to move to 12-4-1 on the season.
"The guys picked it up in the third period, came out firing and with a lot of determination, corrected some of the mistakes we were making earlier in the game," said NCU coach Andrew Roy.
Saturday was also senior day for NCU, as the team honored their four seniors, Adam Viens, Chris Bronson, Kody Halikas and Logan Fortier before the start of the game.
The Falcons will become road warriors for the final two weeks of the season, and the trip starts on Wednesday when they take on Rice at the Cairns Arena at 7:25.
