DERBY — The majority of concerns on the proposed Walmart are related to the predicted increase in traffic. The District 7 Environmental Commission has granted the Vermont Agency of Transportation’s (VTrans) request for more time to review the traffic study conducted by a firm contracted by the developers.
A group of about 70 consultants, experts, and residents gathered in the Derby municipal office building Tuesday evening before the Act 250 District 7 Environmental Commission to give testimony on the proposed Walmart supercenter.
