Lontine–– Dorothy Mae (Herman) Emerson, 77, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, VT, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012, at the Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Home, 37 Lake Road, Newport. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 9 a.m. until the hour of the funeral. Spring interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Newport, VT 05855.
