Chad Letourneau surrendered only 3 hits, but walks and errors made it difficult for the lefty on Monday.
The Essex Hornets took advantage of some sloppy play by the North Country Falcons on Monday.
A first inning grandslam got the Hornets on the fast track as they cruised past the Falcons.
North Country will try and rebound from the loss on Thursday at home against MMU.
