OKEMO–The North Country Snowboard teams' wrapped up their season with the state meet at Okemo Mountain on Friday.
The boys took home fifth place, combining a 61 in Giant Slalom, 54 on the Half-pipe, and a Slope Style score of 76 for a total of 191 points.
Josh Brien's twenty-second place finish was the high-water mark for the Falcons in the slope competition. Justin Christopher was thirty-second, Nick Kincaid thirty-eighth, Mike LeMay forty-sixth, and Chuck Norton fifty-fifth.
In the half-pipe competition the Falcons fared much better, with Kincaid coming in tenth, Brien fifteenth, Christopher seventeenth, LeMay thirty-eighth, and Norton was forty-second.
The girls total score of 92 earned them the fourth overall spot at states. Starting with the Slope Style competition, Anna Ghelli came in tenth, Kay Debonnville twenty-ninth, Danielle Gabucci twenty-third, and Ms. Lampris-Tremba twenty-eighth.
In the Half-pipe Ghelli was once again in the number ten spot, Tremba-Lampris twenty-first, Gabucci in twenty-second, and Debonnville twenty-ninth.
