Falcons Fall to Eagles, 3-2

May 2, 2011

Kayla Deschenau (12) and Emily Pecue (17) played well in Saturday's loss.

BRISTOL– The North Country girls played a close game on Saturday against Mount Abraham, but came up a little short, falling 3-2 to the Eagles.
Even worse for the Falcons, they lost Danielle Gabucci for the season when she broke her Tibia in two places while sliding into third base during the second inning.
Defensively North Country once again limited their errors to just one, and pitcher Kayla Desheneau stranded nine Eagle runners on base.
"We played well defensively, the problem was the offense," said Coach Dunn, "We only had four hits and we had a hard time stringing any hits together."
Emily Pecue drove in both runs for the Falcons.
