Avery–– James Clifton, 87, of Newport Center, VT, died on Thursday, July 26, 2012 in Newport, VT.  A memorial service will be held at the Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Home, 37 Lake Rd., Newport, VT on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 3 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, September 6, 2012, from 2 p.m. until the hour of the funeral.
