JAY - The ever popular Jay Village Inn restaurant, bar and hotel has a new look. According to owner J.R. Hamel, change was needed.
"The reason for the project is that as Jay Peak expands, we have to keep improving as well," he said. "Aprés-ski is a big thing in town, so the best area to expand was the bar and sitting area. A friend of mine from Georgia, Craig Reed Construction, did the project, adding over 400 square feet to the bar area.”
There is even a new expansion upgrading the bar.
"We put about 20 more seats in here and service tables out in the eating area,” Hamel said.
