Casavant–– Joanne Keenan, 67, of Irasburg died peacefully on April 18, 2011 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital Medical Center following a long battle with Sarcoidosis.  Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Memorial Chapel, 37 Lake Road, Newport where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2011 with the Rev. Robert Cargill officiating. Interment will follow in the Derby Center Cemetery.  Should friends desire, contributions in her memory may be made to the Frontier Animal Society, 502 Strawberry Acres, Newport, VT 05855.
