Gillis–– Joseph A., 82, of Island Pond, VT, died peacefully  in  Rutland, Vermont on August 8, 2011. Services will be held at the St. James Catholic Church at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2011 in Island Pond. Graveside service to follow at the Lakeside Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be held at the American Legion in Island Pond at 1 p.m. for all friends and family.
