Josh Brien Leads NCU With 4th Place Finish in Stowe

The North Country snowboard teams took to the slopes of Stowe on Wednesday.
The Boys had two riders finish in the top ten with Josh Brien taking home 4th place and Justin Christopher in 8th.
Nick Kincaid took 18th, followed by Noah St. Marie in 19th, Chuck Norton in 35th, and J Mahieux in 41st
In the girls race, Danielle Gabucci finished a team best 10th place, followed by Gina Basiliere in 13th and Emily Pennington in 21st. Gaia Riskin and Kaila DeBonville did not finish.
The meet comes on the heels of a tough outing at Okemo where several members of the team sustained injury and coach Natalie Gaines spent the majority of the time trying to monitor her fallen athletes.
