DANVILLE-The Lady Rangers put up four first inning runs followed by three in the third and three in the fifth to knock out Danville 13-1. Lake Region scored in every inning but the second in the contest.
The Rangers played errorless softball behind the two hit pitching of Danika Gallup.
Lake Region pounded out 14 hits, including three by Corinna Cota, who had two bunt singles and a double. Gallup added two doubles to help the cause while Sarah Burnham had two hits. Cota, Gallup and Paige Wells scored three times each in the contest. Lake Region stands at 5-2 with the Falcons of Richford coming to town Monday for a 4:30 start.
