Lake Region Defeated by Peoples’ Power Bats

MORRISVILLE–Kyle Perry gave up six runs in the first, and the Peoples Academy Wolves never looked back, as fifteen runners crossed home plate in Lake Region's 15-0 loss on Tuesday.
Despite a rough first inning, coach Eric Degree was impressed with Perry's ability to regroup and focus.
"Kyle's mental toughness was outstanding. They (PA) have a good hitting team, and they earned their runs in the first, but he was able to bounce back and throw some good innings for us."
Poor defense in the 5th and 6th killed any chance of a comeback for the Rangers, and Degree hopes his boys can square up their defense in the coming games.
On a positive note, Darik Messier made his return after missing two games due to injury and had a double and a single in the game.
Now 1-4, LR will be back in action on Saturday against Stowe.
