NEWPORT CITY - Vermontâ€™s single payer health care, known by some as Green Mountain Care, continues to raise some strong opposition locally.
Paul Decelles, a local investment planner, said during Mondayâ€™s legislative breakfast that in 2011 Vermont got on a path to universal single payer health care. The legislation promised a full report on the type of health care Vermonters would get, would not get, and how the state would pay for it in 2013, Decelles said.
