Mother, Sheila Bowman of Newport, VT and all family members are happy to announce the engagement of Katie McLean to John A Lashua, son of Louise Machado of Springfield, VT and John J Lashua of Fort Lauderdale, FL. The bride to be is a graduate of NCUHS and a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University and now works as the Director of Human Resources for Colavria. The groom to be is a Springfield High School graduate, Veteran, Army Ranger and now works as a Mortgage Broker for Oxford Mortgage, LLC. The two reside in Denver, Colorado with their two boxers, Woody and Dakota and are planning an April 2013 wedding in Ocho Rios, Jamaica with a Vermont reception to follow upon return.
