After close to a 15 year hiatus, the NCUHS Cheerleading program is set to make its return this fall. The team is being coached by Danielle Gage of Awsom Gymnastics, and currently has a roster of fifteen athletes. Coach Gage has another meeting with North Country Athletic Director Mike Kiser this week to finalize the details of the restart process, but if all goes well, fans could see the squad perform as early as the end of this month at the North Country/Lyndon Institute football game on the 30th.
The team will holding a bottle drive this Saturday, with the drop off point being at
Awsom Gymnastics located on 565 Union St.
Stay tuned to the Express, as we will have all the details in our Thursday edition.
