NEK News Wins Men's Class E State Softball Championship

Mike Olmstead The NEK News won the Vermont State Class E Men's Softball Championship on Sunday with an 11 inning 5-3 win over Cajun's Snack Bar. Four out of the top five finishers in the tourney were from the Newport area. Hellbilly Hideaway, and Butler Family Auto were the other two local teams in the top five.
