A North Country Tradation

A long North Country standing tradition continues on.

NEWPORT - A standing tradition continued on at North Country Union High School Wednesday evening.
That tradition was inviting graduates of North Country and Sacred Heart Schools to join the current students in the performance Hellelujah from Messiah.
Earlier in the evening the Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of William Prue, performed pieces like I Saw Her Standing There. Later on the Concert Band performed tunes like Jingle Bells March.
The Concert Choir, under the direction of Anne K. Hamilton, sang Sweet Noel. The Men's Ensemble performed We Three Kings. The Women's Ensemble performed Come to my Garden. The Concert Band performed Sleigh Ride.
Earlier in the evening area residents enjoyed a German Exchange Italian Dinner & Silent Auction.
