NEWPORT-Ryan Paul's performance in the North Country nets on Friday night is the stuff that legends are built upon. The senior netminder, along with the defenders playing in front of him, combined to stop close to thirty shots from entering the Falcon goal against the Essex Hornets.
Essex threw everything but the kitchen sink at the Falcons, but the entire team battled as one, giving what could arguably be called the team's finest performance of 2013.
The tie gives North Country a 3-10-1 record for the year, and the boys are sitting in 14th place right now, and should end up traveling to Hartford in the opening round of the play-offs.
